I built an app in a week — then dusted off another idea

I'm a project manager who co-founded a Women in Tech community. I took an old idea for an abundance tracking app and rebuilt it with AI tools, proving that shipping fast is the ultimate confidence booster.

I’m Alison, a project manager with a background in product and business analysis. I also co-founded a local Women in Tech community in New Jersey. I'm all about getting things done — and empowering others to do the same.

I’ve always practiced abundance. It’s a way to track the good things the universe sends your way, like refunds, gifts, or unexpected payments. I used to log these in Notion after my old abundance app shut down. But I had an idea: why not build something new with AI?

So, I decided to build an app for it. I used tools like Lovable, ChatGPT, Claude, and Canva. This wasn't about budgeting or finance tracking — just a gentle place to record all the abundance that arrived. It was about creating a dedicated space for this positive practice, and AI made it happen faster than I thought possible. You can check it out at Track Abundance.

The biggest win? Building and launching this app in less than a week gave me a massive shot of confidence. It made me realize how quickly ideas can become reality. Now, I’ve already dusted off another app idea I’ve been working on with a friend. Stay tuned for that one.
