I’m Christa Burger, and by day, I’m building security programs, protecting data for software companies as a VP and Interim CISO. My job demands my focus. But at home, life was a different kind of demand: feeding and caring for a large household of seven.

That daily grind forced me to look hard at what I could automate, what I could release. My time is finite. I want to spend it on what matters, not on the endless loop of meal planning and grocery lists. So, I decided to apply that same builder’s mindset to my personal life.

I built a system of agents, each named after a pony, to manage my household food inventory. These ponies don't just track what’s in the pantry; they order groceries and plan meals for me. I used Claude to bring this vision to life.

Now, I wake up on Saturday mornings to my grocery cart already filled, ready for checkout. My meals for the week are planned, just waiting to be moved to my calendar. The system shops sales, considers seasonality, and ensures the meals fit what my family needs. It's not just convenient; it's smart.

This personal AI project has saved me at least three hours every single weekend. Those hours are now mine. It’s a quiet revolution in my home, powered by AI, giving me back precious time.
